ACUPUNCTURE

Both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine has been used successfully for thousands of years for the treatment of a wide range of conditions. Acupuncture focuses on inserting needs into specific points along the meridians to restore the balance of the body. Acupuncture does not only work on the point of the injury but also the whole body. Needles during acupuncture stay in place for approximately 20 minutes and usually no more than 6-10 needles are used per treatment session. Acupuncture is painless, as it may come as a surprise to many of you.

Moxibustion and Cupping:

Moxibustion is the therapeutic method of applying the stimulation of heat generated by the burning of leaves of the herb Artemisia. In Chinese medicine, certain conditions accumulate cold and dampness from the environment resulting in making joints stiff and muscles weak. Moxa warms these areas and improved circulation, relieving discomfort and aiding in healing.
